Perhaps you might be wondering why this website is called 'Liryc Soprano' ('Sopran Liryczny' in Polish language).

The main reason is just a fact that I sing soprano voice by some categorized as lyric one. And as this site is devoted to my career and achievements it was convenient to choose such a name.

Lyric soprano is soprano voice variety which as you probably know is the highest singer voice (usually female voice but there are exceptions). Lyric soprano spans in a range from middle A to high C, which means more then two octaves are covered by this type of voice. It differentiates from other types of sopranos by delicate, bright and full timbre reaching highest range of scale available to singers.

Second reason comes from my intention to include here additional information about vocal music and artists I'm familiar and cooperate with. In a News section you will find announcements of interesting events not necessarily with my participation.

It is my ambition to convince people who as yet weren't interested in classical music that this kind of art could and should appear in their lives, at least enriching important moments of it or help to develop new skills and talents. Have you heard that children taught music have great achievements in strict sciences as maths?
